The podcast home was started in February of 2026 with Season 1, The Kitchen. The goal of this podcast was for the host (BG) to feel more at home in her kitchen and like she was actually getting her dishes done and making meals. The goal was for the host to finally just try and make a podcast - a desire that had existed for 6+ years. The goal was to be more comfortable sharing her voice and speaking in public. The goal was to put something in the world that was becoming and growing, but not “perfect.”

The host interviewed Duluth-based chefs to learn about how they created their kitchens and got their dishes done. She interviewed relatives to understand her historical kitchen roots and what her ancestors kitchens were like.
